Fuck the media for not asking tough questions and demanding real answers. Fuck the voters for putting up with this bullshit and giving in to cowardice, racism and fear as the defining political characteristics of the present. Fuck us all for shrugging our shoulders and saying “What the fuck are you gonna do?”. Fuck our present for lacking spine and fuck our future for our lack of care. We’re fucked and we’re the ones doing the fucking. It’s a disgrace and we should be ashamed, but we’re too busy being stupid, short-sighted, paranoid and fucking petty to admit our culpability.
Fuck us all, each and every one. The only good thing to come out of this election was the ABC’s Vote Compass initiative. And there are a host of fascinating insights that it has revealed.
